The design here is genius. The body of the being is so detailed and complicated, but you've balanced out this complexity beautifully with the bold background you used.

Wow...I don't know how you even think this sort of thing up. I've never seen anything remotely similar to this. It sort of has a birdlike design, which makes sense if it's a god figure because it can ascend into the sky higher than any other creature...

Like I said, it's a very complicated design and goes way beyond the scope "sketch" would imply. All those thin, pencil-colored lines really work to your favor because they allow one to focus on the image as a whole. If you had done the small details in black ink the image would look to busy and the eye would not be able to focus on any one spot. There is just a suggestion of detail, which can be enjoyed in a better way than normal because those details merge flawlessly in with the whole design. I love your use of bold designs and colors on such a soft base color for the "skin." Those black designs are really striking, and pull the whole image together. Without them the image wouldn't have much definition. You've also put just the right amount of those dark designs on the god. Too many of them and the balance of the picture would be compromised.

And...you used just the perfect shade of yellow to use on the god..I'm always amazed at that...how people can pick colors so well to form a perfect match. The gradient-like shift from that pinkish color to the brownish skin of the god is flawless. How did you make the transition so smooth? Did you just paint it on like that? It gives me the sense of a profound power...just that transition in color. I can't tell why...

The pose gives the impression of power. How hunched over this god looks gives the impression of strength, almost confidence. To add to the impression of "power" is the background. You've made this bold, imposing shapes radiate away from the god...and I get the sense of some immense power.

Jeez...I really don't have the words to describe this picture well enough. It's amazing...highly original...powerful..Excellent, excellent work here.
